Since Terminal 1 closed and flights began moving to Navi Mumbai, more people who live in Bandra, Juhu and Andheri now land on the other side of the harbour. It is the longest airport drive in the city for them — and the one where the choice of road matters most.
Your sarathi waits at the arrivals exit of Navi Mumbai International with a board in your name, and writes with a photograph of where he stands when the flight lands. Two full hours after an international landing and ninety minutes after a domestic one, at no charge, counted from the moment the aircraft reaches the gate.
Across the Atal Setu and through the city, or along the Sion–Panvel highway and the Santacruz–Chembur Link Road to Kalina and the Western Express Highway. The sarathi chooses by that hour’s traffic, not by habit.
Roughly an hour and a quarter late at night, and two hours or more at the evening peak. The house tells you the hour before you land, and your family at home can follow the car.
The right boot for the luggage, child seats fitted and checked, water in the door. A long drive after a long flight should be the quiet part of the day.
Last checked: 31 October 2026. Airport arrangements are changing month by month; the code on your ticket is always the final word.
Inside every written figure: the car, your sarathi, fuel, every toll, parking at both ends and GST. Nothing is added on the day, and no meter runs.
Reserve from Navi MumbaiSend the flight number; the house reads the airport.
