Zurich to Mumbai

From Switzerland, quietly.

Guests from Switzerland tend to want two things of an arrival: that it is exactly as written, and that nobody else notices it. The house does both — the flight watched from Zurich, the name sent to you the evening before, a board that says only what you allow, and a cabin where nothing is said unless you speak.

I

Which airport

The non-stop from Zurich lands at Terminal 2 of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International (BOM). From Geneva or Basel, most guests connect through Zurich, Frankfurt or a Gulf hub, and the last leg lands at Terminal 2 as well.

II

The flight, watched

The house follows the flight from Zurich; a late departure re-times the car without a word from you. Two full hours after an international landing and ninety minutes after a domestic one, at no charge, counted from the moment the aircraft reaches the gate.

III

Met inside arrivals

Your sarathi stands past customs with a board in your name. When the flight shows landed, he writes to you with a photograph of exactly where he stands; the car is cooled and a short walk away.

IV

Write from your own number

WhatsApp +91 81202 86868 from your Swiss number. A person answers in writing between 7 AM and 11 PM India time — 2:30 AM to 6:30 PM in Zurich in winter, 3:30 AM to 7:30 PM in summer — and the road is watched at every hour.

Discreet, unless you say otherwise

The board can carry initials only, or a word you choose. The sarathi does not use your name in the hall, does not photograph you, and never speaks of who he has driven. Choose "Quiet" on the reservation and the car is silent unless you speak — see a quiet ride.

The finer cars

For a Mercedes or a car of a particular marque, the house finds it from its partners, shows you the exact car before you commit, and the longer waits of the Marque class apply — three hours after an international landing. The Marque cars sets out how.

Questions guests ask

Is there a direct flight from Zurich to Mumbai?
Yes — SWISS flies non-stop from Zurich to Mumbai, about eight hours, landing at Terminal 2. From Geneva most guests connect through Zurich, Frankfurt or a Gulf hub.
Can the board carry only my initials?
Yes. The board says only what you allow, and the sarathi does not use your name in the hall.
How long will the car wait at Mumbai airport?
Two full hours after an international landing and ninety minutes after a domestic one, at no charge, counted from the moment the aircraft reaches the gate — three hours and two for Command, Limousine and every Marque car — with the flight watched from take-off.
Can I pay with a card issued abroad?
Yes. The figure is written in rupees and settled through Razorpay, which accepts Visa, Mastercard and American Express cards issued abroad; your bank shows it in your own currency. Your sarathi never asks for money, a toll or a tip.
Do you need my passport?
No. A name, a number and a flight are enough. The house never asks for a document or a deposit.
