Dates follow the Hindu and Islamic calendars and move each year; the house checks them against the panchang and the moon-sighting before writing your journey. Eid is confirmed only the evening before.

Holi in Mumbai is a morning festival: colour in every society’s compound and on the beaches from early morning, and quiet again by the afternoon. The house takes you to the gathering and, more importantly, home from it.
