Shirdi is about 240 kilometres from Mumbai. Since the last stretch of the Samruddhi Mahamarg opened in June 2025, it is about four to five hours by car — a day there and back if you leave early, gentler with a night. The house sends the car, a sarathi rides with you, and the car waits through the queue, however long the queue is.
By the Samruddhi Mahamarg from Thane, or by Nashik and Sinnar when the house judges it better on the day — it tells you which, and why. The tolls are inside the figure.
Leave before dawn, reach for the morning darshan, return by evening; or stay a night near the temple and come back rested. The car is yours for the whole of it, waiting where the temple allows.
Shani Shingnapur, about seventy kilometres on; Trimbakeshwar and Nashik; a meal on the road the sarathi knows. Ask for any of them when you reserve; the figure is written with them inside it.
For two, the Innova Crysta or the Hycross hybrid; for a family with elders, the Carnival, whose low step and sliding door are kinder; for a party, a van — see Together.
Beyond the city the house writes one figure for the day before you travel — the car, your sarathi, fuel, every toll, parking and GST — and, for a night away, the sarathi's stay, which the house arranges. The published rates are on the rate card; nothing is added on the road.
